Igbo Women Throw Weight Behind Oshiomhole’s Re-election

BENIN CITY – The leader of Igbo women in Edo State, Chief (Mrs.) Cyndy Nnaji has on behalf of all the Igbo women in the 18 local government areas of the state pledged their solidarity and total support for the re-election of the Comrade Governor, Adams Oshiomhole come July 14, 2012.


Speaking with The NIGERIAN OBSERVER in an executive interview in Benin City yesterday, the Igbo women leader said that they are solidly behind the comrade governor adding that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole is the people’s choice for the July 14, 2012 election.


She said the reason why they are clamouring for the governor’s second tenure in office is to enable him consolidate on his achievements.


“If the road is good you go twice and when the music is good you play it twice”, Chief (Mrs.) Nnaji stated.
She noted that Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s developmental strides are clear and visible for all to see adding that there is no propaganda about it. “He has fulfilled all his promises in the areas of provision of social amenities like good roads, schools, hospitals, transportation and many others for the betterment and benefit of all the people living in Edo State”, Mrs. Nnaji further stated.
