AUCHI – The candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) for Edo North Senatorial District, in next month’s general election, Major Francis Alimikhena (rtd) has assured the electorate of qualitative representation if voted into office.
Major Alimikhena called on the entire people of the area not to make any mistake of voting for any of PDP candidates who in the party’s many years in office has nothing to show for it.
He promised to introduce a revolving interest free loan for women and youths in the area as part of poverty reduction measures.
The senatorial hopeful said God has opened Nigerians eyes to see what the PDP has perpetrated in the past, hence, the change everybody is clamouring for.
According to him, the only person who can make that effective and qualitative change is Gen. Mohammadu Buhari.
He however appealed to the people to ensure that they collect their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) as that is the only way they can vote for the change.
Alimikhena was accompanied during the campaign rally by leaders of APC in Edo North, including, Prince Maliki Afegbua; Alhaji Mogaji; Amb. Alegbe; Tom Uloko; Etsako East Local Government Council Chairman, Barr Afegbua; Etsako Federal Constituency candidate, Hon. Philip Shaibu; Etsako East House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Kingsley Ugbabi and Etsako West Constituency 2 candidate, Hon. Gowon Jerry.
The campaign tour continues with visits to other wards in the senatorial district.
