AFUZE – Edo State Deputy Governor, Dr. Pius Egberanmwen Odubu has assured the people of Owan East and West and Igarra in Akoko-Edo Local Government areas respectively that Gen. Mohammadu Buhari would fix the Nigeria nation and create employment for the unemployed Nigerian young graduates if voted into power as president in the February General Elections.
Dr. Odubu stated this at a rally organised by the Edo North All Progressives Congress (APC) at Igarra, Afuze and Sabongidda-Ora respectively.
Speaking to journalists at the rally ground at Afuze, the deputy governor said, “I am indeed very happy with the attitude of our people because this rally was earlier fixed for 2 p.m. but you can see the time now.  It’s getting late, yet the people have been waiting to get the message from our Comrade Governor.
“In APC, we don’t only have credible messengers, but credible messages.  The Governor has said it all that in the coming election, you must vote against Jonathan and vote in Buhari.
“Buhari is a disciplinarian, he is about War Against Indiscipline, he drove “Metasemine” from Kano; he has promised to fight insurgency in the North-East and he has promised to create employment for the unemployed Nigerian young graduates and fix the Nigeria nation.
“That is why, everywhere we go, the people are ready to listen to the message from the Comrade Governor because Mr. Governor has delivered and when you compare APC controlled states and PDP controlled states, the difference is as clear as day and night,” he said.
Dr. Odubu stressed, “you see the APC Governors bringing development, bringing about improvement to the good people of Nigeria and that tells you that Gen. Buhari has no choice, but to deliver dividends of democracy to Nigerians”.
He described the mammoth crowd that greeted the campaign rally as true acceptance of APC candidates for the forth-coming elections.
Also, Secretary to Edo State Government, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere has debunked the rumour that he would not support APC candidates in Edo North in the February general elections.
Prof. Ihonvbere while speaking to the press said, “the party primaries is over and my reaction is that all my friends and associates should work and support APC candidates from the presidency to the state House of Assembly. All that people are saying that am leaving the party, APC to another is all falsehood.  I am supporting Barr. Francis Alimenkhana for the Senate to represent Edo North.
