AZUKHALA EKPERI – it was a moment of jubilation in the entire local Government of Etsako Central, as, Hon.Joseph Ayegbeni Ugheoke (JP) the Honourable commissioner for lands & surveys, at the weekend, was given warm reception at his country home in Azukhale-Ekperi.
The occasion was attended by well meaning political leaders, candidates of APC of various positions, clergy men and traditional palace chiefs, marking the entrance of a high profile political appointment as the Honourable Commissioner’ for lands & survey by the Comrade Governor of Edo State had been highly commended and described as well deserved.
Addressing the people of Etsako Central at the gathering, the Commissioner admonished the citizens to be committed to the All Progressives congress (APC).
He stressed that APC is the only political party, saying: “when we vote – for all the candidates of APC and more especially Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, he will bring light to replace darkness in this country.”
He enjoined the Mammoth Crowd of over 4,000 of his Supporters to vote for APC adding that any vote cast for APC candidate, is a vote for Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, the Comrade Governor of Edo State.
Encomiums of were poured on the Commissioner for his leadership style in the political scenario and was acknowledged as a leader who knows the way, goes-the way and shows the way.
In the spirit of the celebration, Sir Waziri Oshiomah, APC zone two leader thanked the Comrade Governor, Adams Oshiomhole for the honour done to Ekperi, knowing that Hon. Joseph Ugheoke is a grass root politician and a lover of the people.
The commissioner then urged every unit of the ten wards in the local government to begin intensive mosquito campaign and to ensure that every eligible voter has collected the permanent voters card, which he said is a weapon to change the PDP led federal government.
Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of gift items to all the wards in the local government as part of mobilization, and road map to success.
