OKADA- The people of Iyanomo and Ugbokun Communities in Okada-East Ward, Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State have expressed gratitude to the Council Chairman, Barr. Mrs. Lucy Omagbon over the reconstruction of their roads.
They made the commendation yesterday when the earth moving machines swung into action to fix the long abandoned road linking the two communities, after it had been opened up with a bulldozer last week.
While appreciating the Council boss for matching her words with action, the communities’ leaders promised to reciprocate her kind gesture, assuring of their support for her party, APC in the forthcoming general elections.
Meanwhile, grading of roads have also commenced in Oduna ward, precisely on the over 6 km road linking Iguelegbon and Ugbine communities where the jubilant people also thanked the council authority for remembering them who live the road corridor. According to them, the grading of their road is definitely a relief to them, especially when bringing out their farm produce.
