THE former Chairman of Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) Edo State and the General Overseer of Habitation Church of God Int’l Rev. Olu Aderibigbe has called on Nigerians to exercise patience with President Muhammadu Buhari who is yet to name his ministers a month after his inauguration.
He made the call while speaking with SUNDAY OBSERVER on the delay on appointing His Ministers and the changes they should expect in this new administration.
Rev. Aderibigbe said things has been bastardized for sixteen (16) years as such things should not be done in a hurry if we want to experience a true change that is desirable by all Nigerians.
“If the President takes his time to appoint credible people to work with him in his administration, Nigerians will truly get the change they voted for. We all know that Buhari is not a corrupt man and will not succumb to pressure from party looters, as such would want to appoint credible people to help him fight corruption which is the greatest problem facing the country.”
Speaking further, Rev. Aderibigbe said as a nation if we can successfully tackle corruption and win the fight, there will be great change in the social, educational and economic life of the nation and Nigerians will smile for the decision to accept change.
“We all have worked for change and now we have it. All we need to do is to pray for the president to take the right decision at the right time that will affect us all in positive way. We should stop complaining and embrace prayer to support the administration led by Muhammadu Buhari to succeed in this great task of piloting the affairs of the nation.
