Christology, JESUS, SON OF THE IMMACULATE MOTHER
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of the Most High God and also the Son of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The gospel of Luke 1:26-38 introduced Mary as a virgin. “The Archangel Gabriel was sent to a ‘virgin’ and the virgin’s name was Mary.”

The angel Gabriel told Mary, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.” Mary knew quite well that she was a virgin. She had no sexual contact with any man and so she asked, “How will this be, since I know not man?” And the angel said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.” The child was to be called holy because his mother is equally holy: Like mother-like son!

Child of God, like our mother Mary your are called to a life of holiness. You must be holy and perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5:48). As you live a holy life, God will richly bless you and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen! Immaculate Heart of Mary – Pray for us!

Inspirational Message: Mary was favoured because she lived a holy life. If you want God to favour you then you must live a holy life.

PRAYER FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE
Heavenly Father we thank you for the gift of our Mother Mary. We thank you for the grace you gave her. We thank you for her immaculate conception. Thank you for her spotless son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Lord God, you want us to be holy as you are holy. We cannot make it without your grace. Give us the grace to live a holy life and to use our body for your own glorification. Grant this through Christ our Lord – Amen!

PROPHETIC MESSAGE: YOU WILL BE GREAT!
The angel Gabriel assured Mary, that her Son, Jesus Christ will be great: “You shall call his name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High.” Child of God, your God is a great God! As long as you are connected to Jesus, this message is for you. You possess the seed of greatness. Very soon your greatness shall manifest and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen.

Christology: Jesus, our Compassionate Master
Compassion is the ability to feel what others are feeling. It is a clear understanding of the emotional state of others. It also means sharing in people’s feelings and sufferings. Jesus Christ is the most compassionate Man the world has ever known. The gospel of Matthew 9:35 presents him as a Compassionate Master. “When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.” When Jesus saw the hungry crowd he did not organize fund raising. Instead, he had compassion on them. He knew that they were helpless and in need of help. What the people need is a compassionate helper. May God raise such helpers in the church and in our world today, through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Inspirational Message: We don’t just need labourers in the church; what we need is compassionate labourers and helpers.

Prayer for Compassionate Helpers: Almighty God, you are a compassionate Helper. You sent your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to redeem us from our sinfulness. You also sent your Spirit to help us in our weakness. Lord, we are helpless without you. We need your mercy and we need your help in everything we do or say through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: Weep No More!
Our Lord Jesus Christ assured his followers, “Truly I say to you, you will weep and lament… but your sorrow will turn into joy” (John 16:20). In Isaiah 30:19-21, the Lord declares, “Thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: Yes, O people in Sion who dwell at Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when he hears it, he will answer you. And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself any more, but your eyes shall see your Teacher.” Child of God, your period of sorrow is over! The bread of adversity is no more for you. So, weep no more! From today, the Lord will be gracious to you. He will wipe away your tears and it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Son of God and the Expected Lord
The gospel of Mark 1:1-8 presents our Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God. “The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.” The entire gospel passages are the story of Jesus Christ, the Son of the Most High God. Jesus was also presented as the long awaited Lord. The messenger declares, “Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.”Jesus is indeed the long awaited Lord. He is coming soon. The preparation for his second coming is now on the gear. His coming will bring change and lots of blessing. When He comes He will baptize us with the Holy Spirit and His name will be glorified forever and ever – Amen!

Inspirational Message: The way of the Lord is the way that leads to salvation. Jesus is indeed the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Prayer for Divine Preparation: Almighty God, before creating this world you declared your plan and purpose when you said, “Let us make Man in our image and likeness. Let them have dominion….” Our Lord Jesus Christ has taught us the importance of preparation. Lord, give us the grace to prepare at all time for your second coming in glory. Grant this through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: Your period of warfare is over!
Whatever has a beginning must equally have an end. Every ugly situation must surely come to an end. In Isaiah 40:1-5 the Lord declares, “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned.” This is good news! Child of God, the Lord has come to comfort you. Your period of warfare is over! Your period of failure and disappointment is over. Your period of barrenness and infertility is over. Your period of suffering is over. It shall be well with you, in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the Merciful Healer
Our Lord Jesus is a Merciful Healer. As a merciful healer, he was always moved by pity and empathy. He does not feel indifferent whenever he encounters a sick person. In the gospel of Luke 5:17-26 a group of people brought a man who was paralyzed to Jesus for healing. “When he saw their faith he said, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.” This is double blessings! Before healing the sick man Jesus released him from the bondage of sin, which may even be responsible for his paralysis. Jesus further proved his authority to forgive sins by healing the Man with his spoken word. Jesus said, “that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the man who was paralysed— “I say to you, rise, take up your bed and go home.” And immediately he rose before them and went home, glorifying God.” Child of God, with Jesus on your side, your sins are forgiven. And you are hereby declared free from every sickness in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit – Amen!

Inspirational Message: We have so many health-care givers in our world today. But what we need is Merciful healers.

Prayer for Merciful Healers: Merciful Father, you are our Healer and our Liberator. your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ brought healing and forgiveness to our sick and sinful world. He is indeed our Merciful Healer. Lord, we need such merciful healers in our world today. Bless us with God-fearing healers. Use us as your instrument to bring healing and mercy to our sick world. Grant this through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: The Lord is Coming to Save you
In Isaiah 35:1-10 the prophet declares, “Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are of a fearful heart, “Be strong, fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.” Child of God, if you are weak, you need to be strong. Even if you are afraid, fear not! The Lord has remembered you. He is the God of Vengeance. He is coming to fight those who fight against you. He is coming to save you. And His name will be glorified forever in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the great Son of the Most High God
Our Lord Jesus Christ was not an ordinary man. He was a man with a difference. Even before his birth his true identity was revealed to Mary, his Mother. In the gospel of Luke 1:26-38 the Archangel Gabriel said to her, “Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High God; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Our Lord Jesus Christ is indeed the great Son of the Most High God. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!

Inspirational Message: It takes a great woman to give birth to a great Son. Mary is the great Mother of the great Son of the Most High God.

Prayer to the Great Son of God: Lord Jesus Christ, you are great! Even before your birth, your identity as the great Son of the Most High God was revealed through your great Mother, Mary. You are indeed greater than the greatest. You are Mightier than the mightiest. You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords, may your name be glorified forever and ever – Amen!

Prophetic Message: That dragon will not devour you
Dragon is an evil animal. It represents satan and his agents. It also represents the enemies of God’s children. When Mary was about to give birth there was a dragon that was waiting to devour her child. Even in the presence of this dragon, Mary “bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.” King Herod was the dragon who tried to kill the child Jesus; but Mary fled with her son to Egypt, a safety place where the Lord prepared for them. Child of God, I may now know your own dragon. I may not even know those who are conspiring against you and those who are trying to destroy your life but one thing is certain, those dragons are not for you. God will not allow them to destroy you. The Lord will surely save you. No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. You are secured forever in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, our place of Refuge
A place of refuge is a place where we find safety. It is also a place where we experience rest and inner peace. The gospel of Matthew 11:28-30 presents our Lord Jesus Christ as our place of refuge. Jesus said to his followers, “Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Indeed, our Lord Jesus Christ is the only One that can secure our lives. Child of God, if you come to Jesus He will surely give you rest. He will take away your burden; and grant you inner peace. And it shall be well with you, in Jesus name – Amen!

Inspirational Message: There is no resting place in this world. You can never find inner peace except in Christ Jesus.

Prayer for Inner Peace: Heavenly Father, your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, is the Prince of peace and the Lord of lords. He is our place of refuge, our source of peace. In him we find rest. He is the only One that can calm our troubled souls. Lord, deliver us from worry and anxiety. Deliver us from the spirit of depression. Fill our hearts with inner peace and inner joy; through Christ our Lord – Amen!

Prophetic Message: You will not grow weary
The Psalmist declares that they that put their trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion that cannot be shaken (Psalm 125:1). In Isaiah 40:25-31, the prophet also declares, “The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary, his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Child of God, the Lord God does not grow weary. You yourself will never grow weary. As long as you wait for the Lord, He will surely renew your strength. And it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!

Christology: Jesus, the One greater than John the Baptist
John the Baptist was indeed a great man. The Jews even thought he was the Messiah. In the gospel of Matthew 11:11-15 our Lord Jesus Christ declared John the Baptist the greatest Man on earth: “Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” Although John the Baptist is acknowledged as the greatest man on earth yet he is not greater than the least man in God’s kingdom. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only One that came down from heaven. He is therefore greater than the greatest man on earth. So, our Lord Jesus Christ is greater than the greatest. He is mightier than the mightiest. To him be glory and praise both now and forevermore – Amen!
Inspirational Message: The easiest way to be great is to associate with the great. If you want to be great then you must associate with Jesus, the greatest man the world has ever known.
Prayer for divine greatness: Almighty God, your son our Lord Jesus Christ, is indeed greater than the greatest. He came to reveal the secret of divine greatness. He told his followers that the great ones are those who humble themselves. Lord, give us the grace to live a life of humility and greatness. As we humble ourselves make us great like your Son, through Christ our Lord – Amen!
Prophetic Message: The Lord will surely Help you
A helper is someone who comes to assist us when we are in need or even when we are helpless. In Romans 8:26, St. Paul presents the Holy Spirit as our helper. In the book of Isaiah 41:13-20 the Lord declares, “I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I will help you.” Fear not, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel! I will help you, says the Lord; your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.” The Lord is our Redeemer. He has come to help us. Child of God, as long as the Lord remains your redeemer you have nothing to fear and nothing to worry about. The Lord will not abandon you. He will surely help you. And it shall be well with you in Jesus name – Amen!
