The company has helped over 1,200 individuals lose over 10,600 kilograms of their excess weight collectively. The weight loss challenge rewards participants for their discipline in achieving their health body mass index (BMI), with special crowning of P4 Ambassadors when a contestant achieve his or her ideal BMI within the 90 days. The programme is all about encouring overweight people loss more weight and wins mouth watering prizes including cash.

The competition started with a zumba party where participants where energied through various exercises to keep them active while the programme last.

Welcoming participants to the occasion, senior crown manager Cynthia Mary Kelly stated that it was another opportunity to produce a winner yet again in the 90 days challenge. She promised that the participants and guest will sure have a nice time.

“For the past 90 days people across Benin City has entered and participated in the competition hoping to be the winner of the grand prize. She said the company has devised a means of helping participants in the competition, as there was no heavy exercise, no surgery and the process of losing weight is so safe” she concluded.

Delivering a lecture on financial freedom, the speaker Obi Daniels said we all have a dream to accomplish certain height in life but fails to achieve our dreams because we do not have the power to pursue and actualize those dreams.

He noted that the ultimate dream for every one of us is to attain financial freedom in our life time money problems may confront us in our life journey. He stressed that most times, time is the sole responsibility why we fail to attain financial freedom because we trade out time for money. “The secret to financial freedom is leveraging, having the time to have and get all you need in life. It is only when you are in good health that you can fight Obesity and even think of financial freedom”.

Over twenty participants with various body weight participated in the 90 days challenge where they are expected to lose more weight than other participants to win the grand prize of fifty thousand naira, a trophy and product worth one hundred and fifty thousand naira.

At the end of the competition, Mrs. Sandra Iyawe emerged the overall winner of the grand prize as she lost over 77 per cent of her weight while Marian Omoyemwen who came second lost about 58 per cent of her weight. The third position went to Louisa Chigbo who lost 56 per cent of her overall weight.

Speaking to newsmen, the excited Sandra expressed appreciation to EDMARK for the encouragement to lose weight and now compensating her with great prize for losing more weight than other participants in the competition. She thanked her husband for his support and cooperation without which the feat would not have been achieved.

Her husband Mr. Bernard Iyawe said “he feels great for his wife has been rewarded for her scarifies to lose her excess weight”. “When I saw in her the determination to participate in the competition, I have no choice than to completely support her, and today we are both rejoicing together for this great feet achieved”.

Marian Omoyemwen and Louisa Chigbo who came second and third respectively also thanked EDMARK for encouraging them to lose weight and as well rewarding them with cash prizes and product saying this action will encourage other overweight people to embrace the competition because it is a win, win situation.

Crown manager Patience Efekoha said the company is fully committed to help people succeed in health, wealth and their total well being. She said lose weight to win is a competition to encourage overweight people lose weight and get both prizes and cash reward for their effort. “For those that have entered for the completion and did not win, they should not relent but participate again and again as the beauty of the programme is that if you don’t win at all you are sure to lose weight and remain healthy”.
