According to him, “The alumni will continue to promote academic excellence and attract more infrastructural development to the institution”,he added.

“Today, we have reach a milestone in our collective desire to promote the growth of the institution, whether as students, graduates or sons of the land, in one voice it is obvious we seek more robust collaboration in the best interest of the polytechnic.
“We see this project as a start to other greater projects and look forward to working together with the management to ensure that the polytechnic becomes the best polytechnic in the country.
He reiterated that the management can be rest assured that the alumni would be very willing to continue to be development partners and support all the growth plans of the school, he said.

Mr. Okhaimo however advised that a maintenance strategy be put in place by the polytechnic management to ensure that the facilities served the purpose for which it was built.

In his response, the Rector of the polytechnic, Dr Sanusi Jimah commended the association for donating such a huge project to the institution.

He said that for the first time in the history of the polytechnic, the alumni has constructed a storey building studio that will take 200 students at a time and would thereby reduced lecture halls and office accommodation problems in the school in general and the engineering department in particular.
