BENIN CITY- A United State of America based organisation, The Made Man Foundation (TMMF), in partnership with Prince Harrison Ehimiyen Foundation (PHEF) has concluded plans to creating mentorship and leadership training platforms towards build a socially responsible male in Nigeria.

The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TMMF, Dr. Ky Dele made the disclosure during at a ‘Meet and Greet Forum, ‘ organised for development experts and local based organisations, held recently in Lagos State.

Dele said that The Made Man Foundation is aimed to advocacy for community development through transformation and accountable male leaders in community services engagement for the development of people.

“The Made Man Foundation addresses challenges that affect men who have many roles including father, son, husband, and mentor, which in turn has the breath and dept to affect every member of the society as a whole, societal challenges to include educational crisis, absentee fathers, poverty, value of woman and negative imagery of male leaders.

“We will feature seasoned leaders to address issues that will impact societal stability, empower men to actualise optimisation in their homes, family, professional and personal development for community advancement of all, that will include young men and woman”.

“We will not be dealing directly with the boys but we will be working with youth service providers; we will provide them with tools and support system to help local based organisations enhance their development services to the boys”.

“We will also form a locally based host leadership council to include the Woman influencer Network and Male Influencer Network to assist with programming, nominations and execution of its programmes”, she disclosed.

The Executive Director of PHEF, Gabriel Benjamin in remarks, expressed delight over the partnership and the support offered by The Made Man Foundation, adding that the gesture would no doubt help to creating new generation of accountable, enterprise as well asbresponsible male in Nigeria.

“We are dedicated to facilitating innovations for the youth, underprivileged and vulnerable through our various innovative social services, skills acquisition & empowerment programme, leadership trainings and advocacy campaign,”

“The Made Man Foundation in partnership with PHEF will be sponsoring selected youths on a fellowship in the US and the purpose is to strengthen and developed the Fellows’ leadership potentials, sharpened and expand their leadership skills, and promote cross-national findings, create networks and innovations with practical leadership applications amongst them”.

“Whilst all our programmes are evidence-based, youth driven and sustainable results-oriented, PHEF is also poised to fostering public dialogue among youths that will bring about social changes in the area of youth development”, Gabriel said.
