ABAKALIKI – There was bloody clash between Abakpa main market Traders and Ebonyi state government tax force agents in Abakaliki the state capital.

An eye witness who spoke to news men said that the clash started when officials of the state government tax force entered the market to enforce government directives of compulsory tax payment on some selected traders whom they assumed to be masterminded the traders sue state government to court over Abakpa main market relocation to Margiret Umahi international market.

The Ebonyi state police public relation officer DSP Loveth Odoh who confirmed the incidents said that police tactical teams headed by two assistant commissioner of police Swarmed the market to quell the emerging clash with there men and peace has returned to the market.
