Abuja – A group, under the aegis of Youths for Presidency Movement (YPM) has expressed appreciation to its members across Africa, for their resilience in the past 2019, urging them to keep up the momentum in 2020.

This was contained in a New year message signed by the group’s convener, Umudjere Africaman, and secretary, Odu Susan Adah.

YPM stated, 2019 was a year of great terror, abuse, incessant political and religious unrest, hence an increase in awakened African youths.

“last year has be tremendous for recording an increase of African youths awareness and engagements in programmes, services and policies that has aided the consciousness of the African youths in the fight against political injustice and inequality”

“2019 has been a year of observed tendencies portraying African youths betraying themselves and fostering the imperialists’ course of Africa disunity; 2019 despite all odds was a year that elicited to us the light of efforts in reclaiming the hope of African Youths as the torch carriers of Africa Unity and Development”, the statement partly read

“2019 witnessed a cross-road of the fight for African Youths becoming today leaders; the need to keep on track and grow more strategies and techniques in achieving this goal has become our new year resolution for 2020”, the message further read
