Edo: Atiku orders activation of 150 support groups for Obaseki

Benin – Ahead of the Sept. 19 governorship poll, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has donated his 150 support groups to Gov. Godwin Obaseki’s governorship campaign organisation in Edo.

Abubakar announced this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) on Saturday in Benin.

The statement was signed by Mr Oladimeji Fabiyi, Deputy Director of the defunct Atiku Support Group/Mobilization Presidential Campaign Organisation.

It quoted Abubakar as directing that the 150 independent support groups in Edo be immediately activated in support of Obaseki, PDP’s flag bearer in the election.

It stated further: “The former Vice President, as a major stakeholder of the PDP, considers it expedient to put in place winning structures and machineries that will guarantee total victory for the party in Edo.

“We need to complete the circle in the south-south region that naturally and originally belonged the PDP.

“Having received the directive with joy and enthusiasm, I have no doubt that all our support groups in Edo will be very glad to receive this news and run with the directive of Atiku Abubakar for the benefit of Obaseki and the PDP,” it stated.

  1. This looks good, we just oray amd hope our government abides by it and they don’t display their incompetence which they are notable for. We citizens too should support this initiative by being enterprising, its an arduous task to do, after all the constraints imposed on businesses by the sad state of the economy, but it’ll be worth it especially if we venture into agriculture, see here to see a list of businesses to venture into https://www.liveandwingit.com/download-business-plan-for-nirsal-microfinance-loan-application-agsmeis-cbn/?doing_wp_cron=1588380415.1417589187622070312500

Obaseki is a sound professional politician with brain.
First tenure he really worked on roads and also created skill acquisition for youth, mostly he pays salaries when due, and also pays pensioners. He doesn’t own, he work on infrastructural development too. He touches all areas in other to win the heart of Benin people and he has finally gotten all supports from Benin.
I love him because he did not eat to forget the poor masses I visited my village ekpoma what I saw was beyond human capacity, he has transformed all roads in town and cities.
He has the fear of God, so humble to the call.

The areas other politicians miss it is when they get into power and begin to miss used the money for personal interest.
So the masses will not have then in mind.
When you work and do projects you will see that God will fight for you and put your enemies into confusion just the way APC are now, when godfatherism try to put him down the people stood for him.

Life is short let’s love every one, let’s work together for one Day we will give an account .

What will u be remembered for, peiopleof Edo just remembered obaseki for his good works in. The land
