BENIN-CITY – The management and staff of Bendel Newspapers Company Limited (BNCL), publishers of The OBSERVER tittles yesterday lauded the Edo State Governor, Mr Goodwin Obaseki for energising the company premises to the CCET-Ossiomo power, a development which guarantees a 24-hour uninterrupted power supply to the company.
At a general meeting in the company’s premises on Airport Road in Benin City, the company also congratulated the governor for what the staff and management said was a watershed in the history of the 52-year old newspapers publishing company.
With the development, the General Manager of the company, Sir. Barr. Solomon Imohiosen said that the Obaseki-led government has relieved the company of a big burden occasioned by the epileptic power supply by BEDC.
He prayed that the development should transcend the entire 18 Local Government Areas, adding that the ongoing restructuring in BNCL is a positive development that would be a reference point.
Expressing satisfaction that the development was happening in his time as General Manager of the company, he urged every staff of the company to rededicate themselves to duty in order to complement the vision of the governor for BNCL and the state generally.
The General Manager also prayed the governor that the transformation.
Those present gave a standing ovation to the governor, while praying the God Almighty to continue to endow him with wisdom.
