BENIN CITY – The Deputy Governor of Edo state Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu has charged coaches,staff and players of Edo Queens FC of Benin to cooperate with the newly appointed acting head coach of the team Stanley Osazee popularly called coach sheyi as he begins work ahead of Robo FC.

The deputy governor gave the charge today in a brief ceremony in which he introduced coach Osazee to the players and officials of the club.

Comrade Shaibu while admonishing the players, tasked them to give the acting head coach all necessary support to enable the team succeed in their subsequent games.

” Coach Osazee is to back up the two senior female coaches, Helen Ibrahim and Gladys Nwagbara and as well provide technical support for the team.

Please, cooperate with him; respect him. He is the head coach of Bendel Insurance Feeders team and he is a winner.

He is LaLiga, European trained coach. His work begins now and shall provide technical support while we look into the issues that led to the suspension of coach Rollanson Odeh.” The Deputy Governor said.

The deputy governor also encouraged the queens to raise their game and work harder to be able to realize their set goal of qualifying for the first Women CAF champions League.

Coach Osazee was recently confirmed head coach of Bendel Insurance FC Feeders after leading the lads to winning the 3rd Stephen Keshi National U-17 championship on debut.

He also took Insurance Under 15 team to NPFL/ LaLiga tournament finals in 2019.
