The Edo State Skills Development Agency (EdoJobs) in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ)’s Skills Development for Youth Employment (SKYE) programme has concluded plans to host over 1,000 youths for the 4th edition of the Edo Job Fair.

The summit, set to be held virtually, is slated for Tuesday, May 18, 2021, and would feature opportunities for job seekers to engage with recruiters and stand the chance of landing jobs during the event.

Managing Director, EdoJobs, Ukinebo Dare, who noted that the fair was envisioned to provide youths with opportunities to engage with employers of labour in the state, said necessary arrangements have been concluded to host a successful fair.

According to her, “The Job Fair, which would hold virtually, is in its fourth Edition. It is a sustained initiative by Edojobs in partnership with GIZ SKYE to match job seekers to the right opportunities for career growth.

“It provides a platform that connects the job seeker with industry experts, employers, and recruiters hiring top talents from anywhere within Edo State.”

She noted that some of the features of the fair are opportunity for interaction with employers, who are seeking to fill vacant roles; career insights from professionals; networking opportunities for businesses and applicants and a masterclass to help candidates improve their curriculum vitae.
