BENIN CITY – The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has commiserated with the Obazelu of Benin Kingdom and his former Special Adviser on Political Matters, Chief Osaro Idah, over the death of his mother, Madam Ayo Edna Awo-Osagie.
Obaseki, in a statement, expressed grief over her demise, praying that God grants the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The governor noted: “I commiserate with Chief Osaro Idah over the passing of his mother, Madam Ayo Edna Awo-Osagie.
“Mama was a great lover of peace and exuded uncommon love. She was an inspiration to many, contributing immensely to the peace and development of her community.
“I pray for the repose of her soul and may God grant you and your entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
