BENIN CITY – The long standing dispute between one Mr. Omoruyi Obaretin and some political party heavy weights, who are members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been further heightened as Police and political thugs allegedly acting on the orders of the politicians have attacked the wife and children of Omoruyi Obaretin at their Benin City resident.
Information made available to The NIGERIAN OBSERVER by Mr. Osaretin Obaretin reveals the heavily armed thugs who came on the wee hours of the night came looking for him, it was not the first time Police and political thugs who are hell bent on eliminating Omoruyi have come harassing and tormenting the family.
It would be recalled that Omoruyi Obaretin who has not been seen since a warrant of arrest was issued for his arrest by a magistrate court in Ehor, Uhunmwode local government, Edo State, in February, 2017.
Omoruyi Obaretin and some persons had problems with some APC chieftains in the State. The crisis led to the arrest of some persons and the political chieftains who were angry that Omoruyi Obaretin was not among persons arrested, used the police and party thugs to harass and torment the family, since Omoruyi Obaretin ran for his life some years ago.
Since the recent attack on the wife and children, their whereabouts is unknown, the people after the life of Omoruyi Obaretin have vowed to also kill his wife and children.
