Anamero Idofe foundation, an NGO, have donated millions of Naira educational materials to primary and secondary schools in the Edo-North Senatorial Districts.

Speaking during the flag-off distribution of the educational materials held in Auchi, the founder of the foundation, Mr. Dekeri Anamero said the gesture is aimed at improving level of education among young people within the locality.

Anamero explained that the donation tagged “Back to School Project” is also aimed at motivating young people in the locality to be serious with their education.

According to him, “We decided to donates these books and writing materials to these students just to support and encourage them in our own little way to take their academics serious”.

“As a foundation, we are committed to playing key role in improving the lots and wellbeing of the younger generation in this localities”.

“We can’t continue to wait on government to do everything for us, we must sacrifice in our little way to support in moving the society forward”, he said.

Mr. Anamero said that apart from supporting schools, the foundation was into empowering women and youths towards supporting humanity in the pursuit and acquisition of skills and knowledge, especially at the foundation levels.

“Anamero foundation has, since 2011 been giving grants, scholarships and tuition assistance to indigent students in Edo North as our way of giving back to the society.

“Aside promoting education, our foundation has also empowered women through various skills acquisition and support to small scale businesses,’’ he explained.

He, however, called on groups and individuals to key into the vision of the foundation in developing education at the grassroot.

The Otaru of Auchi, HRH Alhaji Haliru Momoh, Ikelebe 111 applauded the founding father, Mr. Anamero for the gesture and the show of love to students in the area.

The Otaru who was represented by the Daudu of Usogun, Jim Garuba commended the foundation for supporting the educational advancement of the people with quantum of qualitative educational materials.

He prayed God for more grace to the foundation to continue with the good works and handsomely reward it by enlarging its coasts

Some of the beneficiaries commended the foundation for supporting them.

They said the foundation had lifted their spirits and made them happy and proud to have such high quality educational materials.
