BENIN CITY- The Edo State Head of Service, Mr. Igbaekemen Jerry Obazele has been inducted into the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) as a fully fledged member of the institute.
Also inducted were Mr. Eddy Edionwemen, Director, Office of the Head of Service and Mr. Ogunsanya Clement.
Performing the induction ceremony, former President of the Institute, Sir  Peter Edeoghoghon appealed to the inductees to abide by the tenets and regulations of the institute which include honesty and exhibition of noble character.
Sir. Edeoghoghon informed the newly inductees that if they are found wanting, the institute reserves the right to withdraw their membership, urging them to be free to add MNIM after their names.
Responding, the Head of Service stated that he sees the honour as an accident in history for him to be made a manager of personnel having been trained as an Accountant.
He assured the institute that he will not see himself as a bird of passage, rather as a full fledge member of the Institute who would do all that is necessary to promote the noble gesture which the institute represents.
The Head of Service on behalf of the State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the Government of Edo State and his family appreciated the Institute for the honour.
The Chairman, Civil Service Commission who is also the Chairman of the Oredo Chapter of the Institute, Princess Mrs. Ekiuwa Inneh congratulated the Head of Service and colleagues while appealing to him to attend the monthly meetings of the institute which is rotational as well as pay their dues.
