He said the officers were trained in collaboration with the 4 Brigade, Nigerian Army.
The commandant said they were also trained in field graft.
He said the training was also part of the Federal Government’s plans to form a synergy among the various security agencies in the fight against “Economic Saboteuårs’’.
He decried huge losses of revenue incurred by both the state and federal governments due to the activities of pipeline vandals.
The commandant urged the officers to apply the skills that they imbibed during the training in order to rid the country of crime.
“The damage and loss that these terrorists, vandals and kidnappers have caused this nation are simply incalculable.
“As armed personnel, you must be mentally alert and extra-security conscious, since our war is targeted at the professional criminals who are dare devil economic saboteurs,” he said.
Haruna commended Edo State Government for its support and assured the officers of provision of necessary firearms for effective service delivery.
