BENIN CITY – Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole yesterday assured that, his administration will continuously deliver dividends of democracy to the electorates.
He disclosed this at the Oba’s Palace, Benin City while presenting eleven candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Benin Monarch, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpokpolor, Oba Erediauwa.
The governor disclosed that the developmental strides of his administration across the length and breadth of the state is non-stop.
He hinted that all projects started by his administration must be seriously pursued to their logical conclusion.
Comrade Oshiomhole emphasizes that the Benin City water storm project was very dear to his heart, just as he promised to give priority attention to the present. Prayers were offered for the APC candidates, just as the monarch wished them well.
Addressing pressmen later, the governor asked members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State to stop illogical anticising of his administration.
He said he is trying to clear the mess of their 10 years inactivity in the state.
Among those presented to the Oba were Hon. Pius Odubu, Deputy Governor, Hon. Samson Osagie, who told newsmen that his legislative experience put him head and shoulder among his co-contestants for Edo South ticket and Hon. Uyi Igbe, APC Oredo Federal Constituency, Hon. Elizabeth Ativie, Uhunmwode APC, House of Assembly candidate among others.
Meanwhile, the February elections commences on 14th February with the presidential and National Assembly election.
