BENIN CITY – The Edo State House of Assembly has passed a bill for a law to amend the law which set up the Edo State University, Iyamo.
In amending the law, the house rules 27,42,43,44,45 and 46 were suspended to enable the lawmakers consider the bill at the committee of the whole.
Moving the motion for the amendment of the bill, Ogedengbe said the bill seeks to amend the principal law known as Edo State University, Iyamo Law.
With the amendment, the law will now read ‘Edo University, Iyamo 2016.’
