NDOKWA- The Nigerian Police, Delta State Command have declared one Chukwujindu Chibuzor wanted over the death of a Fulani herdsman in Olor Ossissa Ukwu in Udokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Tochi Azubike, it was learnt that the wanted suspect Chukwujindu Chibuzor led mob to attack a Fulani herdsmen settlement in the locality, which left one of them dead and scores injured.

The Police PRO called on members of the public to aid the police with credible information that will lead to the whereabouts of the fleeing suspect and his gang.

Investigation by our reporters revealed that some Fulani herdsmen had earlier took their cattle to some farm lands in the area, destroying all the produce in the farm and settling it ablaze.

It was also gathered that the Fulani cattle herders had been raping women and attacking men in their farms, with more than 10 persons already been killed by the cattle herders in the past. On November 20, 2016, the Fulani and their cattles entered Chibuzor’s plantain farm and other farms, destroyed and ate the produce.

A source in the community disclose to NIGERIAN OBSERVER that following these actions and event perpetrated by the cattle herders led to the attack by youths of the community on the Fulani settlement. The farmers led by Chibuzor accosted the cattle herders and fighting eshew, in the process one of them died.

The dead Fulani man was alleged to be dragging with Chibuzor when he fell to the ground and died.
Since the incident, the whereabouts of Chukwujindu Chibuzor is unknown as the Fulani herdsmen are also after his life and that of other farmers.
