BENIN CITY- The president of Godsent foundation, an NGO in Benin city Ambassador Dion Osagie gave German government an award at the country’s consular General Officer in Lagos.

The Benin based philanthropist told newsmen in Benin city that he was challenged to honour the German government it good hospitality to Edo people living in Germany.

“We have to encourage these European countries, especially Germany for what they doing for Edo people in particular and Nigerians in general”

He said, haven travel round several countries in the world, he found out that Germans are doing a lot of good work for Nigerians staying in the country.

“I’m doing this to appreciate the good work the German government are doing for our people over there, I know this award will spur them to do more for our people” Osagie added.

Receiving the, Ingo Herbert German consular General in lagos said he is very happy to receive award from a man like Amb. Dion Osagie whos activities as a core humanitarian have changes the life of so many people in the society.

Ambassador Dion Osagie has earlier before now presented a gift to the German Ambassador during his visit to Ebohon cultural centre, Benin city.
