Manchester United sailed through to the Europa League quarter-finals after a 1-0 win over Real Betis at a buoyant Benito Villamarin Stadium.

A 4-1 win in the first leg meant United had one foot in the next round, although Betis began the game determined to keep the tie alive.

The Red Devils headed to Spain all but assured of progress from this last-16 tie having won the first leg 4-1 in freezing conditions at Old Trafford last Thursday.

The Red Devils progressed to the quarter-finals of the Europa League with a whopping 5-1 aggregate scoreline over the Spanish side, their 1-0 win in the second leg on Thursday is more than enough to go through.
