Fuel queues that seemed to have eased off few days before last Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections have resurfaced in parts of Warri and Effurun metropolis.

Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol, was not available in most filling stations in the metropolis visited by The Nigerian Observer. A few stations that had the product had a herculean task controlling the crowds as they struggled to buy fuel.

At Matrix filling station on Airport Road, a litre of petrol sold for N210. St. Lukes filling station also on Airport Road sold for N220 per litre, while other filling stations sold for as high as N280 per litre.

Petrol users who decried the harrowing experience they are made to go through before getting the commodity expressed dissatisfaction while calling on the relevant authorities to do the needful by ensuring steady supply of the product.
