The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has disclaimed a recent publication in some sections of the media to the effect that Mr. Anthony Ebilebo is the Head of New Media of the party.
In a press statement signed by the party’s National Director of Publicity, Adm. Chinwe I. Nnorom (Pst.), on behalf of the National Publicity Secretary, the party said that Mr. Anthony Ehilebo is not the Head of the PDP New or Social Media, adding that such position is non-existent in the managerial structure of the party.
That statement further added that Mr. Anthony Ebilebo cannot speak for or represent the party as he does not hold any official position at any level of the party’s administration.
Nnorom, while urging the media, PDP stakeholders and the general public to disregard such publication and misrepresentation by Mr. Ebilebo, emphasized that the PDP is a party of rules, its officials (elected and appointed/employed) are known and the approved/certified channels of public communication are well defined in its Constitution and Establishment Manual.
