Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has sent a message of felicitation to the Nigerian workers on the occasion of this year’s Workers Day.
In a message on his official Twitter page, The Vice President appreciated Nigerian workers for their dedication and contribution to the growth and development of the country.
In his words: “This Workers’ Day, we remember and recognise your contribution to the growth & development of Nigeria.”
While commending Nigerian workers for their dedication, Osinbajo said: “Your dedication deserves multiple layers of appreciation; times you earn so that others can be comfortable, sacrifice to meet deadlines, work hard through uncertainties show grit in the face of adversity, and do your jobs diligently and with dignity.
“Your hard work powers our economy, your resilience guides and shapes the future in more ways than one, your strength builds and sustains our infrastructure, and your sweat fuels our industries. You are heroes whose labour will never be forgotten.
“Thank you for all that you do. Happy Workers’ Day!” he said.
