Former President Muhammadu Buhari says leading Nigeria was a daunting challenge for him and urges countrymen and women to lend their support to President Bola Tinubu in the arduous task ahead.
In an Eid message conveyed by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, the former president said effective leadership necessitates the cooperation and backing of all individuals within the nation. He said, “The task of leading a country like Nigeria is undoubtedly one of the toughest challenges one can face.”
Buhari encouraged Nigerians to wholeheartedly support the Bola Tinubu administration, highlighting the significance of citizens’ sacrifice and assistance in ensuring successful governance.
He said, “Leadership is an arduous responsibility that demands the unwavering commitment and support of the people.”
Buhari extended wishes for a joyous Eid celebration to Nigerian Muslims. He also expressed his hopes for a blessed Hajj pilgrimage for those partaking and a safe return to their homes.
