A popular female Ijaw pop music queen , Ikesima Brown, and six others of the Barrister Smooth Band have died in a road crash.
The incident occurred when the pop cum highlife music queen and six of her colleagues died when approaching Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory.
The deceased were all members of the Barrister Smooth Music Band, which is one of the oldest highlife music bands in Ijaw land.
It was gathered that , the band was hired and due to perform in a show in Abuja on Monday, Democracy Day before their lives were cut short by the unfortunate accident..
Others who died in the crash were identified as: Joseph Ekeremieye, Ebis Awiki, Tuku (keyboardist) and Dennis Abasa..
