Everton will sell Alex Iwobi if they receive a suitable fee for the versatile midfielder this summer. The 27-year-old is in the final year of his contract at Goodison Park, Daily Post reports.

Iwobi joined Everton from his boyhood club, Arsenal, in 2019. The Nigerian international has been offered a contract extension by the Merseysiders, but he is yet to respond to the club on his decision about his future.

According to Football Insider, Everton will allow Iwobi to leave if they receive a lucrative offer. Iwobi was named Everton’s best player last season, as he has established himself as an integral part of the team. He played in all of Everton’s 38 league games, scoring two goals and seven assists.

Everton battled to avoid the relegation zone all season long and succeed in remaining in the English Top flight on the last day of the league.
