The Ministry of Youth and Humanitarian Affairs will be organizing a Stakeholders Interactive and Sensitization Forum to commemorate World Humanitarian Day on August 18th and 19th 2023.
A statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Humanitarian Affairs, Eire Ifueko Alufuhai disclosed that the theme of this year’s Humanitarian Day celebration is “It takes a Village”.
The Keynote speaker expected at the Stakeholders interactive session which will take place at the John Odigie Oyegun Public Service Academy, is Amb. Prince Francis Origa, (Ph.D., UN Scholar/Professor of Humanitarianism), the Registrar, Institute for Humanitarian Studies and Social Development Abuja.
This maiden edition of the World Humanitarian Day Celebration in Edo State has the objective of fostering partnerships and enlightening participants on humanitarian activities, as well as developing a strategic humanitarian action plan for the State.
