… Falconets’ camp opens on Wednesday, December 27

The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has shifted the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup final qualifying round, first leg battle between Burundi and Nigeria to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The match was initially slated for the Stade du Prince Louis Rwagasore in Bujumbura.

FIFA has, however, ruled that the stadium is unfit to host the game; “The Stade du Prince Louis Rwagasore failed to meet the necessary standards for hosting such a crucial match,” FIFA’s clear and unwavering verdict.

Therefore, the clash will be held in Dar es Salaam on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

The reverse fixture will return to the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Saturday, January 20, 2024.
