The Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated the palancas Negras of Angola to become the first team to book a place in the semifinal at the ongoing Africa cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

Angola, who made their third quarter-final appearance and first AFCON clash with the Eagles went into the game on the back of a nine-game unbeaten run.
