As International Women’s Day approaches, the John Odigie-Oyegun Public Service Academy (JOOPSA) is gearing up for an extravaganza that promises to be a celebration of empowerment, diversity, and the spirit of inclusion.

With the theme “Inspire Inclusion,” JOOPSA is leaving no stone unturned to make this year’s celebration a memorable and impactful event for the Edo State workforce and environment.

The Director-General of JOOPSA, Imuwahen Ajoonu said, “We will be talking about how to empower women or empower inclusion in public service. We would like you to join us on 8th March 2024. We’re going to have top leaders from all spectrums of society joining us for our fire chat where we will be talking about leadership in the public service. We want to see a world that is rid of biased stereotypes where the best person for the job gets a foot through the door”.

Distinguished female leaders from various fields are set to grace the occasion, sharing their stories of triumph, resilience, and breaking the glass ceiling. These empowering talks are designed to inspire and motivate the Edo State Government (EDSG) to embrace diversity and champion the cause of women’s empowerment in the public service arena.

JOOPSA has curated a series of events and the panel discussions will be focused on fostering inclusivity and breaking down gender stereotypes.
