Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has set her sights on leaving reigning Spanish champions Barcelona, marking the end of a successful chapter with the club she joined in January 2019.

Oshoala won the CAF Women Footballer of the Year, the UEFA Women’s Champions League title twice, four Primera División titles, three Supercopa de España Femenina honors, and three Copa de la Reina titles.

During her stay with Barcelona femenina she made 14 appearances for the Spanish side this season, making the team lineup on three occasions throughout that time.

Oshoala has been spotted in the United States, heightening speculation of her move to the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) outfit Bay FC. The potential transfer could command a fee of approximately €150,000 ($162,000), with medicals and contract signing to be sorted this week.

The reigning African Player of the Year will team up with new arrival Venezuelan international, Deyna Castellanos, who joined the team from Manchester City on Sunday.
