The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) have postponed the Matchday 22 fixture involving Rivers United and Niger Tornadoes, DAILY POST reports.

The match between Rivers United and Niger Tornadoes, which was supposed to happen on March 28, at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, has been rescheduled.

The new date will be determined by the NPFL.

The NPFL has shared that the reason for the postponement is because Rivers United will be competing in the CAF Confederation Cup.

They have an important match against Dreams FC of Ghana this weekend.

The game will take place on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
