Nigeria’s representative, Edo Queens, have been drawn into a challenging group for the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifier.
They will face Burkina Faso’s Omnisport Etincelle, Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana, and Niger’s AS Garde Nationale.
The draw ceremony occurred on Wednesday at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
The tournament marks Edo Queens’ debut in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
Group A consists of hosts FC Inter D’Abidjan of Cote d’Ivoire, ASKO FC of Togo, and Ainonvi FC of Benin Republic.
The competition will be held from August 10th to 23rd in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny and Champroux stadiums.
The tournament’s winner will earn the right to represent the zone in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
