In a move to bolster the state’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), a delegation from the Cross River State Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (MEDA) visited the headquarters of the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) in Kaduna.
The MEDA delegation, led by Ikpi Itam, Manager, Senior Investment, Funding and Credit Department, and Okon Ebi, Senior Investment, Funding and Credit Officer, emphasized the agency’s eagerness to explore funding avenues for the MSME sector.
They reaffirmed the Cross River State government’s dedication to fostering investment opportunities in agriculture.
Maryam L. Labbo, Head of Collaboration at BOA Headquarters, Kaduna, expressed appreciation for the longstanding positive working relationship between the bank and the agency, and assured of continued collaboration and the provision of increased funding options to support MSME growth within the state.
Additional BOA officials, including Abbas Saidu and Fatima T. Lawal, echoed the Bank’s unwavering commitment to promoting MSME development nationwide by facilitating access to funding in Agriculture.
