The Edo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (EDSPHCDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EHA Clinics Limited.

The signing ceremony, a significant move to improve primary health care delivery in Edo State, took place over the weekend, at the Office of the Executive Secretary, EDSPHCDA, Dr. Omosigho Izedonmwen, along Ezoti Road, Benin City.

While speaking during the event, Dr. Omosigho Izedonmwen expressed his gratitude to the EHA Clinics team for agreeing to partner with Edo State, highlighting the significant investments made by the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, in the areas of infrastructure, water, solar, internet connectivity, furniture, essential drugs, equipment, telemedicine consultations, technology, as well as insurance to ensure the people of Edo receive quality health care.

Dr. Izedonmwen welcomed the proposed partnership, noting that he is confident that it would complement the efforts of the Governor while also acknowledging the remarkable work EHA Clinics is doing across Nigeria.

In response, Dr. Ifunanya Ilodibe, Chief Medical Officer of EHA Clinics, expressed her gratitude to Dr. Izedonmwen for the warm welcome extended to her and her team. She viewed the partnership as an opportunity to improve on the already impressive primary healthcare initiatives in Edo State, and looked forward to collaborating with the Agency to improve the health outcomes of Edo people.

The partnership aims to leverage the strengths and resources of both organizations to achieve universal healthcare in Edo State, provide expertise and management services from EHA Clinics, and collaborate on healthcare improvement strategies.
