…as Omobayo performs groundbreaking of bottling company in Edo North
Edo State Deputy Governor, Engr. Marvellous Godwins Omobayo, has restated the present administration’s commitment under the leadership of Governor Godwin Obaseki to providing the enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
The Deputy Governor gave the assurance while performing the groundbreaking ceremony of Abodunde Bottling Company, a subsidiary of Abodunde Farms, Ekor in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area.
According to Omobayo, the Obaseki-led administration since its inception in 2016, has initiated programmes and policies to support private investors, while promoting ease of doing business.
He commended the entrepreneurship spirit of Princess (Mrs.) Abisola Abodunde for initiating the ambitious project, asserting that it would generate more employment for people in the area and contribute significantly to the economic prosperity of Edo State.
On poor electricity supply in the locality, the Deputy Governor promised to do the needful to address the issue.
Earlier in an address, Prince Alfred Ayeni, who spoke on behalf of CEO/Founder, Abodunde Farms, Mr. Femi Abodunde said, “At the heart of the project lies a commitment to revolutionizing the food production and supply chain in Nigeria, a region where food security is of paramount importance”.
The groundbreaking ceremony attracted dignitaries from Akoko-Edo, including clergy men and traditional rulers.
