The Premier League will begin hearing into Manchester City’s 115 alleged charges on Monday, Sky Sports News reports.
City have been charged with a breach of financial fair play rules over a nine-year period.
The period under review is between 2009 and 2018.
In that period, City won the Premier League title three times.
But the Premier League insists that the champions broke the rules over nine seasons by allegedly failing to provide accurate financial information.
Among the charges against City are that they didn’t fully disclose the financial remuneration that was made to one of their managers over a four-year period.
The suggestion is that there was a secret contract so one of the managers was getting paid much more than officially stated.
