Chelsea’s pursuit of Victor Osimhen remains alive despite missing out on the striker during the summer transfer window, as the Nigerian forward has completed a surprising season-long loan move to Galatasaray.
The Blues had been in discussions with Napoli on deadline day but couldn’t finalize a deal.
PSG also expressed interest, but according to their transfer Chief Luis Campos, they ultimately opted against making a bid, focusing on other options like Gonçalo Ramos and Kolo Muani.
However, Chelsea could still reignite their chase in January, as Osimhen’s loan to Galatasaray includes a break clause, allowing the move to be terminated early.
This would give Chelsea another opportunity to secure the striker, with compensation due to the Turkish club if the clause is activated.
