The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), in collaboration with the Sports Ministry, has announced two significant appointments ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The Olympic Games are set to officially open on Friday, July 26, 2024, in Paris, the renowned City of love.

In a statement by Tony Nezianya, who will serve as the team’s Press Attaché, it was confirmed that Tobi Amusan from the athletics team will be Nigeria’s flag bearer, while Anuoluwapo Opeyori from the badminton team will take on the role of General Team Captain.

Tobi Amusan, the reigning world champion in the 100m hurdles, is one of Nigeria’s top medal hopefuls for Paris.
