UBIAJA – The Chairman, Esan South East Local Government Council, Hon. Joseph Ikpea has distributed Bundles of zinc, Hp Laptop and financial assistant to some indigenes of the Local Government.
Speaking while presenting bundles of zincs to Mrs. Mary Oko-Oboh, a rain storm victim from Ubiaja ward 7, Hp Laptop to Master Vincent Ehiaghe less privilege and a physically challenge person from Ewatto ward 3 and a cheque of N100,000.00 to Mr. Wilson Agwumede, an accident victim from ward 8 Hon. Ikpea said the gesture was on humanitarian ground.
He said the gesture has nothing to do with politics but a way of complimenting the effort of his Elder brother who has a foundation for alleviating poverty through assisting students, widows, market women, less privileged and the physically challenge persons.
According to him, the magnanimity is inspired by the fact that he has seen the good and bad side of life.
Mrs. Mary Oko-Oboh who was represented by Mrs. Esther Oseghale, Master Vincent Ehiaghe and Mr. Wilson Agwumede thanked the chairman for the gesture and prayed God to bless the council boss and his family.
