…as God’s Grace Orphanage marks 2nd Anniversary
The founder and Chief Executive Officer of God’s Grace Orphanage and Motherless Babies Home, Mrs. Kate Okunrobo Odianese has urged key stakeholders especially caregivers, partners, and supporters of the orphanage vision to render heartfelt services that stem from their genuine kindness and sincerity in nurturing young orphans, underprivileged children into a prosperous future.
Okunrobo who was represented by Pastor Wonderful Roland Imade of Chariot of Love Ministry, gave the remarks at the second anniversary celebration ceremony of God’s Grace Orphanage home, which was held on Thursday, October 24, in Benin City, the Edo State capital.
Suffice it to state that God’s Grace Orphanage home, a world-class infrastructure is developed to cater for the well-being of young orphans, widows, abused and underprivileged children.
“I am immensely grateful to God for bringing us this far, today marks 2 years of our impactful existence as an orphanage home, and I want to say it is because of the good works and support of partners like you. I want to say a big thank you to all our partners and supporters around the world, we are where we are today because of your kind benevolence.
“I want to use this medium to thank the caregivers who have the responsibility of taking care of the children. As we mark 2 years today, it is my charge to you that you let everything you do be born out of your innermost being, from a heart of love and dedication, to ensure the proper and positive well-being and standard of living of the children under your custody,” Okunrobo said.
“For every service you render, let it be as unto God and not to any man. It is my greatest desire and commitment that this vision continues to blossom, and that, partners come from far and near to support this insightful work,” she said.
Okunrobo who highlighted some of the gains accomplished in the humanitarian journey noted she was optimistic that the impact kick-started so far, will be felt globally.
“Whenever I reflect on this journey, how these children were brought here, and how they have grown and outgrown the trauma they came with, I give glory to God.
“The sound education, healthy diets, talented upbringing and experienced workforce provided in the place is a proof of God’s handwork and a reaffirmation of our global calling to save children around the world. Once again thank you,” she added.
In his address, a humanitarian, Evangelist Osunde Ogbemudia of Believers Ministry Incorporation, commended the indefatigable strides of the CEO, Mrs. Kate Okunrobo Odianese in putting smiles on the faces of orphans and bringing hope to the less privileged, stressing despite the challenges faced, she was able to surmount and came out victorious.
