His Excellency, Governor Godwin Obaseki is set to commission the newly reconstructed Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Hajj House and swear in the new board members.

The event which is scheduled for Friday, September 13th, 2024, will hold at the Board’s office located at 3/5 Ogumusu Street off Dumaz Road, Off Sapele Road, Benin City.

This was disclosed by Sheikh Ibrahim Oyarekhua, Chairman, Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, in a press statement in Benin City on Wednesday 11th September 2024.

According to Shiekh Oyarekhua, “The commissioning of the Hajj Camp Phase 2 is a significant milestone for the state, especially for the Muslim community as it will provide modern and improved facilities for Muslim pilgrims embarking on their Hajj journey to the Holy land.
