BENIN CITY – A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Charles Idahosa said the shift in date for the forth coming general elections is a coup against the party democracy and Nigerians generally.
In a chat with newsmen in Benin City over the charge in the elections date, Hon. Idahosa said the action of government amounted to “postponing the evil days”.
According to him, the action is also a play to rig the election by the ruling political party which saw clearly that victory was going to be for APC in all the elections.
He disclosed that “no matter how long the elections are postponed, PDP would be defeated” pointing out that ‘charge is imminent.
Hon. Idahosa therefore urged the electorate to keep faith with APC and endevour to collect their permanent voter card in order to be able to enthrone APC that will bring the desired change.
