The former Arsenal defender thinks the 24-year-old forward has not reached that level with the Chelsea legend despite his recent form in front of goal
Martin Keown disclosed that Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku is not yet at that level with Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.

Following his transfer move from Everton this summer, Lukaku has established himself at Old Trafford having notched seven goals in eight league games for Jose Mourinho’s men this season.

But Keown disclosed that the Belgian international is not ‘at that level’ with the former Chelsea forward who was one of the best lone strikers in the history of the English Premier League.

“Lukaku is criticised because people rate him really highly and see that he can do much more than he is at times prepared to give,” Keown told DailyMail.

“Didier Drogba was one of the best lone strikers in Premier League history but I do not think Lukaku is quite at that level yet.

“When Manchester United are being dogged — as they were at Anfield — they need to see more from Lukaku.”
